September Milton

Our next meeting will be at Gulf Gate on Sept. 2 in the afternoon, from 1 pm to 3 pm. We'll return to the morning time the following session.

Our plan is to read some short works of Milton in September, including:

Sept. 2:

• On his Blindness
• On the Late Massacre at Piedmont

• L'Allegro
• Il Penseroso

• Other poems if time allows might include On the Morning of Christ's Nativity and On his deceased wife

Sept. 16th:

• Lycidas

Also, On Shakespeare, Comus, for background.
